The Hunger Games series built a color-coded world that mapped power onto palette. The Capitol's hyper-saturated, almost garish abundance contrasted against the desaturated greys and browns of the Districts. The arena itself changed color with each installment: jungle greens, beach blues, manufactured skies. Katniss's world grows slightly warmer as her agency grows, color tracking her movement from victim to symbol.
